Tips & variations

Use Ripe Strawberries

Sweet, in-season strawberries give the best flavor and color, so you need less sugar.

Fresh Lime Only

Bottled lime juice tastes flat. Fresh juice gives the bright balance a daiquiri needs.

Get the Texture Right

If it's too thick, add a splash of water or lime juice. If it's too thin, blend in a few more ice cubes.

Kid-Friendly Virgin Version

Skip the rum and replace it with sparkling water or a splash of apple juice. It's just as fruity and refreshing.

Gin Twist

Swap the rum for gin for a more herbal, crisp cocktail that pairs beautifully with the strawberries.
