Sunday brunch at Leo am Platz
This new hotspot in Leopoldstadt, Vienna's 2nd district, only just opened, so of course we had to try it straight away. The menu is nice and extensive, with options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There's plenty of space too, which makes it the perfect brunch spot for a lazy Sunday in Vienna.
We went for the classic eggs benedict and a pastrami sandwich. The pastrami was a really fun take, with a great balance of sweet and salty flavours.
To be honest, the food took a bit longer. That's part of the first few weeks at any new place, and once it hit the table we'd already forgotten about it.
