Tips & variations

Perfect Sear

Make sure your pan is smoking hot before adding the steak - this creates that beautiful crust while keeping the inside tender.

Resting is Key

Always let your steak rest for 5 minutes after cooking. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring every bite is juicy.

Crispy Fries Secret

Soak cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before roasting to remove excess starch for extra crispy results.

Regular Beef Version

Use ribeye or NY strip steaks instead of Wagyu for a more budget-friendly option that's still delicious.

Herb Butter Alternative

Replace miso butter with garlic herb butter made with fresh thyme, parsley, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
